Ritual CDs

FOI CD

        Compact Discs of the cassette tapes that Olivia Robertson recorded over the years at Clonegal Castle are available for purchase. They are colorfully printed with artwork by Olivia Robertson, each ritual series with a different color and drawing, and presented in a slim case.

        These recordings are not simply readings of the associated ritual, but spontaneous presentations, often done with creative license. Many diverge from and are much longer than the actual written rite.

        Olivia Robertson is the main Guide in all rites, and many also feature her brother, the late Lawrence Durdin-Robertson as Archpriest. The "players of Clonegal Castle" - local friends and visiting members also perform on some recordings. (Players names have been removed to protect privacy.) The majority of the tapes from the last few years have been recorded solely by Olivia Robertson, adding her own thoughts and dramatic inspiration to each one.

        Each CD is an hour long and includes one full ritual from the FOI Liturgy (unless otherwise noted). Please know that even though these tapes have been digitally improved, the sound quality on some will still vary due to the condition of the original recording.
