Fellowship of Isis
Applying to a Lyceum

To study with a Lyceum, you must also be a member of the Fellowship of Isis. Members may join and leave Lyceums freely; however they may only study with one Lyceum at a time. There are no binding oaths or secrecy.

A request to join a Lyceum is made to the administrating Hierophant. The procedure will vary to obtain acceptance: it may take the form of a personal interview, or there may be a written application if it is a correspondence course. Telepathic assessment on the part of the Hierophant and spiritual Vocation from the applicant is essential so that group harmony is preserved.

Members choose their Lyceum because they are drawn to the particular aspect it shows forth. Every member, being a daughter or son of the Mother Goddess, is on equal footing with the Hierophant, but voluntarily submits to their guidance and teaching. Students also bring their own individual gifts and knowledge to the Lyceum. Initiation into a Fellowship of Isis Lyceum is given through the rite of Flamma Vestae.
