Noble Order of Tara
Applying to a Priory

To join the Noble Order of Tara, you must first be a member of the Fellowship of Isis. (Join FOI here) Members may join and leave Priories freely; however they may only study the Initiate system with one Priory at a time. There are no binding oaths or secrecy.

A request to join a Priory is made to the administrating Grand Dame/Knight Commanders. The procedure will vary to obtain acceptance: it may take the form of a personal interview, or there may be a written application if it is a correspondence course. Telepathic assessment on the part of the Grand Dame/Knight Commanders and sincere intent from the applicant is essential so that group harmony is preserved.

Members choose their Priory because they are drawn to its particular tradition and practices. Initiation into a NOT Priory is given through the rite of “Rite of Tara, Initiation into a NOT Priory". See this section for a list of active Priories in your area.
